Fall Chinook fishing is fair. Fish are spread throughout the bay and river up to the deadline on the Siuslaw and Lake Cr. Lake Cr. opened to Chinook on October 15 up to the deadline at Indian Cr. Anglers are reminded that there is no wild coho salmon retention in 2017.
Anglers are reminded the two-rod validation is only valid while fishing in standing water bodies excluding coastal lakes with wild coho seasons. Two rods are prohibited on all coastal rivers, tidewater, estuaries and bays.
