Lemolo is just a few feet from being full. The KOA resort should be open and ODFW is hoping to stock the lake soon. The schedule called for stocking earlier, but snow and other issues have delayed stocking this and other waterbodies this year. The Forest Service said they are hoping to open campgrounds at Lemolo toward the end of May. Bank anglers should find success with hungry browns.
Kokanee in Lemolo are considered trout and fall under the daily limit for trout of 5 per day, with only one of those measuring over 20 inches. Anglers can also retain tiger trout in Lemolo if they happen to catch one that migrated down from Diamond Lake.
