Winter steelhead are in the Salmon River. Steelhead have pushed up and throughout the system and fishing is improving after the recent rains coming in.
January-March is the typical peak for winter steelhead in the Salmon River. So we should start to see our peak fishing opportunities in the next few weeks.
Trout fishing in streams will reopen on May 22.
