The Trask River is rising quickly today and may be high and off color all week. Whenever it does drop into shape there should be steelhead throughout the fishery. The Trask does not have any hatchery steelhead releases but gets a run of wild steelhead that provide catch-and-release opportunity, the occasional hatchery stray is caught.
