Following draining of Haystack Reservoir for maintenance, anglers should expect slow fishing as the reservoir is restocked and fish populations rebound. Haystack Reservoir received several hundred rainbow trout broodstock the last week of March. These fish provide a rare opportunity for anglers to catch a trophy-size rainbow trout. The reservoir is currently 79 percent full and ODFW stocked additional fish in April.
