The release from the dam is 600 cfs, and the temperature at release is 41F. Reservoir outflow will continue to increase over the next few days until it reaches 1,200 cfs. The Applegate is currently open for trout and winter steelhead fishing. Only hatchery winter steelhead can be retained. Winter steelhead fishing will take a little while to pick up on this river.
